Having a 1080p HDTV makes for a really awesome movie experience. I love having a 1080p HDTV in my home theater. Ours is a 64 inch widescreen 1080p HDTV, that's hooked up to a surround sound system and an HD DVD player. The picture and sound are more amazing that at the movie theater. I'm disappointed when I go to the theater now that I have a 1080p HDTV at home, because the picture at the theater is cruddy compared to my TV. It's great to be able to buy a movie for twenty bucks or less and have my entire family of seven be able to watch it on the 1080p HDTV. It's over forty dollars for all of us to get into a theater now. Plus owning a movie means we can watch it over and over throughout the years. When we watch movies on our 1080p HDTV, we also get snacks that we don't have to spend a fortune on like we would at the theater. I love having a 1080p HDTV home theater system in my home.
