I hosted a house party last weekend to celebrate my friend’s 27th birthday and boy did it go over really well. I took my iPod and hooked it up to my home theater system in my living room and set it on shuffle so that I and my guests could enjoy some fun songs all night long. I never knew how many songs I had uploaded to my iPod until I had it set to randomly play different songs on my home theater. Hooking it up to the home theater was actually really easy to do – I just used a simple converter kit and plugged it into the back of the receiver on my home theater. Since my living room is rather large and has wood floors, at certain points there were even guests dancing to the softer songs that were blaring from my home theater. Another cool thing about the speaker system on my home theater is that it has a built-in equalizer that allows for me to automatically set the frequency to different genres like popular, rock and alternative. Thanks to my iPod and my powerful home theater speakers, the party went off without a hitch!
