1080p hdtv, garmin gpsThis year my grandson will be eleven-years-old.  He has gotten older quicker than I care to admit, and getting him the perfect gift for Christmas has been a chore.  This is an extremely active boy, and he wants everything you can imagine.  However, I decided on a 1080p HDTV for his room.  He wanted a LCD HDTV for some time; but his Mom was reluctant to get him one yet.  After a little persuasion from his grandmother, his Mom finally relented and agreed it would be okay. 

Skyler is active in football, and he wants to play soccer.  Keeping his grades up is up most on the agenda.  However, a 1080p HDTV should not be an additional time-consuming item that hurts his grades.  They already have a lovely home theater unit that the entire family enjoys; but, I felt he needed his "own" little space with his own form of entertainment.  I'm sure he will enjoy this one!

I also found a great Garmin GPS for his older brother.  Since turning seventeen, he is driving, and I can see he is nervous.  If he is at all like his grandmother, he must get lost a lot!  Hopefully, this will change all of that!
