lcd hdtv, home theaterLast night was the season finale of the Ultimate Fighter Championship and I missed it. Luckily a friend TIVOed it on his LCD HDTV but I was too excited to see the results of the Kimbo Slice/Houston Alexander matchup so I found the clip attached below. I will rewatch it on his LCD HDTV later but man this was a great match up. Slice is 35 years old, 6’”, 212 pounds with a 77” reach. Alexander is 37, 6”, 208 pounds with a 72” reach. They are both huge aggressors. I was most excited to see how Slice’s ground game has shaped up. All of my friends don’t have much faith in the big guy. Slice is a street fighter with no training prior to this show.

These are two very scary fighters.  The crowd started getting antsy in the first round as the two fighters circled so did I. It was easy to hear over the home theater just who the crowd was behind. Kimbo got some real inspiration from the crowd cheering his name. His story is so amazing. It is no wonder he is a fan favorite. Check out the jab at the 8:40 minute mark. Can’t wait to watch this whole fight on the LCD HDTV later.
