Our daughter decided to go out of town for the weekend, so she asked if we could take her oldest son, who is four years old, and watch him for the weekend.  We gladly said "Yes", being as we don't get to see him a lot.

We were overwhelmed with how busy our grandson was; he was into something new every five seconds!  That was, until we decided to put on a couple of cool kid's DVD's and let him watch them on our LDC HDTV, and we have a home theater system with great sound, so we really cranked it up!  He said, "Wow! Grandma, this home theater system really works great!"  At this point I told my husband that our home theater system was worth every penny we put into it; he totally agreed with me! 

It's amazing at how a kid's DVD, such as Stuart Little or Peter Pan, can really capture a child's attention, especially if they get to see it on a big LCD HDTV screen with a nice home theater system!  We actually took turns napping during the movie, that's how enthralled he was with the movies! 

I thank God for our home theater system, because without it, I don't know if we could have kept up with our four year old grandson; he's like the Energizer bunny!
