lcd hdtv, home theaterI adopted two cats or they adopted me, either way, they make themselves at home in our living room.  They play by running around the living room and chasing each other.  They used to chase each other behind our TV set, but that was before we bought our new LDC HDTV set.  Now they can't get behind the LCD HDTV set because it fills our entertainment center.  The home theater system sits on top, so they can't even get behind the LCD HDTV!

I noticed something funny one day; one of the cats walked by the LCD HDTV and stopped dead in his tracks!  He looked directly at the TV and then I saw his eyes following an eagle that was on the educational program I was watching.  This went on for at least 10 minutes.  My cat would watch it fly one direction, and then it would fly into its nest, and then fly out again.  My cat never missed a beat; his eyes her fixed on that bird!  I had no idea that cats could even see TV, but I guess that our new LCD HDTV picture is just so bright and clear, our cat thought he was seeing the real thing!  It was too funny watching him get all excited and his let out this chattering sound that he usually only makes when he wants to catch a bird. I guess cats love to watch LCD HDTV sets just as much as their owners do, especially if I'm watching the educational channel!
