I am hoping to go on my first camping trip ever, sometime this summer. So many people tell me what I'm missing out on, and I am ready to try it. My husband and kids are chomping at the bit to get out there and go camping. If and when we do go, we will bring a Garmin GPS with us. The Garmin GPS will help us find a great camp site and also help us to find our way through hiking trails. Hopefully the Garmin GPS will lead us to a place to have a picnic while we're hiking. I'd love to go somewhere with winding trails, waterfalls and springs to swim in, and the Garmin GPS will be valuable for finding that place. Our five kids love the outdoors and have been camping with church groups before and loved it. I want to have that experience with them and connect with them without having phones, televisions and internet competing for my time with them. Camping and hiking are great ways to spend quality time with the kids.
