LCD HDTVs are great, being so flat they take up a lot less space than any other kind of television. Plus you can hang an LCD HDTV up on the wall using a tv wall mount. It looks sleek and pretty hanging on a wall, especially over a fireplace. I have an LCD HDTV in my room, where I don't have a lot of extra space. I got the LCD HDTV in there because I wanted to hang it on the wall to save space. The wall mount didn't cost a lot and was easy to hang the LCD HDTV on. I love the picture on the LCD HDTV too, it is so crystal clear and the sound is amazing too. I can't believe how technology has come so far, putting all the elements into a super thin LCD HDTV and having it look and sound so wonderful. Plus, since it's so thin it saves a lot of room. If I'd set the LCD HDTV on a dresser, it still wouldn't take up any room at all, because it's thin.
