I must admit, that I used to be a part of the TV watchers of the past – you know us folks: we refuse to give in and buy the newest technology that TVs have to offer and therefore miss out big time on the latest and greatest innovations. But, I finally cracked – to be honest after my old projector TV finally wore out – and purchased a 1080p HDTV. Very quickly did I realize what I had been missing out on! I have never watched TV (prior to owning this 1080p HDTV) in true high definition and with that much clarity. A few things became immediately omnipresent. You know how they are now rating how good actors and actresses look when viewed on true 1080p HDTVs? There are even some tabloids that rate them from the best looking on high definition to the worst looking…and they could not be more correct. You really can see every hair follicle, every droplet of water, nearly every precise detail that you have been missing out on for years. Needless to say, movies are an entirely different and far more enjoyable experience for me since I got my new 1080p HDTV.
