home theaterI saw the delivery truck pulling up to my neighbor's house and based on the boxes they were unloading, I would bet they finally got their home theater system they ordered online. They have been planning their home theater for months now. They recently retired and have lots of time to watch TV and movies. I expect they will throw a party when they get it all put together. They ordered many of their home theater components online because they got a better deal than if they had bought them locally. They had time to shop around in local electronic stores and then compare prices online, and went the Internet route. Since they bought many of their components, they got a better deal. They were able to negotiate with the sellers and got reduced shipping costs and didn't even have to pay sales tax, and on something that cost them over $4,000, that was a chunk of change. I hope they like their home theater when they get it all put together and can't wait to see how it performs.
