lcd hdtv

Once the new LCD HDTV that I purchased through an online shopping site was delivered, I couldn't wait to set it up. We made some room on the small stand that we had in storage. It was a nice looking TV stand, but the LCD HDTV barely fit onto it. I really didn't like the way it was sitting, but we are renting so mounting the LCD HDTV on the wall was out of the question.

After talking it over with my wife for a while we still didn't know what to do. Our friends came over one day with their young child. To put it mildly, he is rather rambunctious. He likes to run, touch, jump, and play with everything. That is great, but in a small apartment we spend a lot of time running after him. It didn't take five minutes before he found the new LCD HDTV sitting on the TV stand. His eyes got wide. My eyes got wider! He made a run for it. I made a mad dash for it! Thankfully, I got there first. We got his attention averted from the new LCD HDTV, but the experience made me think harder about what to do with the stand situation.

We couldn't really buy a new stand, as we didn't have that much room. My wife decided to go searching online for a solution. After looking through the search engines for some kind of solution, we decided to go to the website we bought the LCD HDTV from. Super Stop Entertainment, which is at www.superstopentertainment.com, has a huge selection of great electronic products. While we sat there looking at the other components we saw that they had some LCD HDTV furniture. While there was a lot of LCD TV wall mounts, we didn't really see anything that would help. Then, just before we were to click off the site we saw the answer!

At Super Stop Entertainment there was a product called the Sanus FFSF1A-SB1 Stand for Flat Panel TVs. Essentially, it is a LCD HDTV mount that is on a stand rather than on the wall. That was exactly what we needed! It was the right dimensions for our TV and room, so we placed our order. Once the stand came, we set up the TV on it and it looked great. My friend even came by with his rambunctious toddler. I didn't worry about it. The stand was taller than he was!
