lcd hdtv One of my roommate’s favorite channels to watch is the Food Network. During this time of year there are all sorts of festive dishes on display leading up to Thanksgiving and December holiday dinners. It is a love hate relationship for me when it comes to these shows. On a LCD HDTV, steaming gravy over mashed potatoes and turkey can turn a full stomach hungry again. Watching the Food Network at night on an LCD HDTV when the pantry is empty is a suicide mission for me. It is only a matter of time before I throw the covers off and head into the fridge for some late night snacks. When there is nothing to make I get creative; toast with peanut butter, chips with teriyaki hot sauce or anything with melted cheese.

LCD HDTV screens really helped channels like the Food Network out because now food looks as it should when cooked by a chef. Nothing is lost in translation. And as hard as this can be on my stomach, I have gotten all sorts of holiday dish food ideas for the coming weeks from my LCD HDTV. For lunch today, I had to heat up some gravy, corn, mashed potatoes and sliced chicken for an early ode to holiday cooking.
