Are you one of those who knows when you have found the perfect gift for someone? Once in a while I run across something that everyone on my gift list will appreciate. I found a product that will reduce the degree of annoyance with home theater systems. We all love our home theaters, but when the commercials come on and we're not near the remote, the blast of noise from the commercial can be so distracting and aggravating. It's at the top of my mom's list of all things to be avoided, so when I found this Terk TV Volume Regulator, I knew I had found the perfect gift for her.
This works with home theaters to regulate the sound so the commercials don't blast and the quiet parts of movies are louder so that the listeners can actually hear the dialogue. My h hearing is nearly perfect but there are even sounds I can't hear. This volume regulator will increase the sound of those quiet spots so no one misses one word of dialogue.
I know for a fact that I'm giving this to my mom for Christmas and buying one for myself. Like almost everyone, I find that commercials are so annoying, and if I'm in the kitchen and the commercials come on and I can't get to the remote soon enough, I have to suffer through the noise until I can hit the mute button.
I found this volume regulator online today while looking for screen cleaner for our LCD HDTV. I found it at Super Stop Entertainment located at http://www.superstopentertainment.com, a website loaded with products for the home theater. Our home theater is the centerpiece of our home's entertainment and I want to keep the screen clean and sharp as a tack. Once I mistakenly used alcohol on my LCD computer monitor and it got pretty streaked. I won't do that again to the home theater.
I'm really looking forward to giving my mom this volume regulator and hooking it up to her home theater, too. I told my siblings that I was going to give it to her for Christmas and they were interested in the product themselves. I sent them an email with the URL in it. We usually run by our gift selections for mom so we don't duplicate what we give her. It's hard to give her something because she has everything she needs, so finding this device for her home theater was a real treat. I feel like I had one big stroke of luck. |
