Choosing Home Theater Accessories Is Hard Work! |

I do not remember it being this hard when I was decorating our new home. But, when my husband installed a new home theater, I worked way too hard in trying to find the right accessories to go with it. I did not worry about any of the actual home theater components, my husband would know more about that stuff than I would, but I did want some style to it. I spent months choosing some accessories that would make the home theater system not only provide great audio and visual, but also look good in our new home.
I wish I had not have been so picky! When I first started decorating our new home it took me three weeks to completely finish every room. I knew what I wanted, knew where to get it, and had a great time setting up all the rooms. Each room has its own style and I had no problem figuring out what I wanted. But, trying to make a home theater system look good, almost killed me! I knew that I wanted to do something to hide all the ugly wires and components, but did not know what specifically I wanted to do.
I searched, and searched, and searched for all kinds of ideas. I visited many different electronic stores, looked at a lot of different magazines, and even spent a lot of time online looking for a home theater design solution. Nada. I couldn't find anything. It was like looking for a needle in a haystack. My husband would laugh at me and tell me that the home theater looked good enough. Well, good enough is not good enough for me!
I dug in my heels and finally found some solutions. One of the things that I found some speaker stands to help with the placement of the surround sound speakers. I really did not like them hanging off the walls and wanted to place them closer to where we were sitting. The stands that I found at a website called Super Stop Entertainment, which is located at www.superstopentertainment.com were perfect.
The speaker stands, Sanus HTB7 Home Theater Adjustable Speaker Stand, had a great shape, were adjustable, and would blend in with the furniture. I ordered the stands and couldn't wait to see them in my living room. Once they arrived, I had my husband install the speakers on them, and placed them where I wanted them. Magnificent! Since then, I have gone back to Super Stop Entertainment several times to find more home theater accessories. |
