A Solution for Our New LCD HDTV |

When my husband and I recently ordered our new LCD HDTV the big discussion was whether we would remove our current entertainment center and hang it on the wall using a wall mount or whether we'd leave our current entertainment center and put the LCD HDTV on it. Since the easier of the two options was putting the LCD HDTV on our current entertainment center, we decided to try that option first, and figured if we didn't like having it there, we could always order a wall mount for the LCD HDTV and hang it on the wall.
Our old TV was quite large, so when we put the LCD HDTV on the entertainment center, I thought it looked out of place. My husband thought it looked ok, but I personally thought it looked ridiculous. The bad thing was I didn't like the idea of looking up at the television if we bought a wall mount for the LCD HDTV, so I wasn't really sure what to do. My husband and I talked about it and in the end we decided to just wait a while and do nothing since technically it wasn't hurting anything for the LCD HDTV to be on the entertainment center, even though it was unsightly.
Eventually, I decided to go online and see if I could find any other options for the LCD HDTV and my husband decided to do the same. We both looked around for a while, and then we saw Sanus Systems 30" To 50" Flat Panel TV Stand With Tilt that we found for a great price at Super Stop Entertainment whose online store can be found by visiting www.superstopentertainment.com. I asked him what he thought about putting the LCD HDTV on that, and then we could remove the entertainment center and actually move the TV to the corner of the room where it would look great, be at the same height level as it was on the entertainment center, plus it would be taking up less space. We both agreed that this was the ideal solution and we decided to order it right away. Now all we have to do is wait for it to arrive and we'll not only be able to get rid of that large entertainment center, but we'll also have more room in the living room and have the LCD HDTV in the corner where I think it will look great. I'm looking forward to seeing how it all comes together. |
