home theater, lcd hdtvOn Monday (dunk video attached) the Phoenix Suns traveled up to the Golden State Warriors home turf in what all accounts was predicted to go the way of the desert. And it did but it was much closer then I would have wanted with a final score of 133-131. The big news wasn’t how the game ended but how it started. Amare Stoudemire laid down debatably the best dunk of the regular season. I’m including the All-Star Dunk Contest too. This guy exploded off the ground and hammered a one handed jam right over the top of a defender who did not have a chance in hell to stop the attack. My favorite part of the video below, which I missed while watching live on the LCD HDTV is the guy in the stands behind the hoop, mouth open, totally taken aback as Stat played to the crowd.

<--Turn Up the Home Theater

Moments like this, I’m glad a home theater system was there to back up the excitement I felt seeing this occur. You could hear it in the broadcaster’s voice. I don’t know why Amare doesn’t enter the dunk competition. He would bring something great to the table.
