NASA Movie on Rear Screen Projection Television Amazing Experience |

Yesterday I went to an incredible concert where they combined orchestral music with a NASA video production about the planets and the solar system. It was simply amazing. They used a huge rear projection television on the stage behind the orchestra and between the visual imagery and the live music, it was quite the experience. The orchestra really delivered energy to the video and did a lot of justice to the rear screen projection television we were watching.
And I was spoiled this week too, when I saw Alice in Wonderland at an IMAX theater. That was an amazing visual experience and I hope that the technology becomes more widely available now. I was imagining what it would have been like to have 3D in the NASA movie we watched. They took us deep into space in the film and we saw real images of all the planets based on recent photographs taken from space. We have an LCD television at home but now I'm thinking that our next one might a projection television so we can get images like those that we saw yesterday and if they have 3D television by then, so much the better.
